Global real estate opportunities are everywhere. People move to the U.S. from other countries every day and foreign-born individuals residing in the U.S. move to new markets. Americans in your current market may look to invest in property overseas. No matter which audience you cater to, the CIPS designation will provide you with the knowledge, research, network and tools to globalize and expand your business.

The CIPS course curriculum offers you hands-on experience with international real estate transactions, as well as five full days of study focusing on the critical aspects of transnational transactions, including:

*Currency and exchange rate issues
*Cross-cultural relationships
*Regional market conditions
*Investment performance
*Tax issues
*And more!

This course introduces real estate professionals to the basic skills and knowledge necessary to facilitate international transactions with European clients, and is designed to benefit both experienced real estate professionals as well as those just getting started. 

Instructor

Kelly Lee McFrederick is a native of Clearwater Beach and graduate of the University of Florida. She is an avid tennis player, golfer, and has spent a lifetime boating on Florida waterways. She grew up on the water, and in 2021 purchased a waterfront historic home with every challenge.

Kelly Lee began her real estate journey in 2003, working as an Accredited Staging Professional Master with “Stagedhomes.com.” She later became a trainer and speaker in the Florida marketplace, introducing Home Staging to a growing market of Realtors® and sellers. Kelly Lee acquired her Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Instructor licenses in 2004 and 2006 respectively.

***This course is one of the three elective courses to earn the prestigious Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation. The CIPS Network comprises 4,500+ real estate professionals from 50 countries and is the specialty membership group for global business practitioners of the National Association of Realtors®. Each course is approved for 6 hours of Specialty CE Credit for Florida Licensees  upon successful course completion. All REALTOR® attendees will receive credit towards NAR's CIPS Designation.
