About our Speaker

Robert (Bob) L. Tankel, Esquire is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.A. in Political Science, 1978) and the University of Florida School of Law (J.D. with honors, 1981)

The Tankel Law Group has been a consistent and outspoken advocate for condominium and homeowner associations, their boards of directors, and Community Association Managers (CAMs) since 1982. We represent community associations throughout Florida, particularly in the Tampa Bay, Orlando, and Jacksonville areas. Our mission is to provide a friendly, collaborative environment where client goals are met cost-effectively and personally.

Mr. Tankel co-authored the article "Taxation of Condominium and Homeowner Associations," which appeared in the Florida Bar Journal and portions of "Condominium Law and Practice" by Gary A. Poliakoff.

His practice emphasizes the representation of condominium, cooperative, and homeowner associations, and he is a frequent lecturer on association operations.
