CIPS Course: Transaction Tools (6CE) (2DAY)

Global real estate opportunities are everywhere. People move to the U.S. from other countries every day and foreign-born individuals residing in the U.S. move to new markets. Americans in your current market may look to invest in property overseas. No matter which audience you cater to, the CIPS designation will provide you with the knowledge, research, network and tools to globalize and expand your business.
The CIPS course curriculum offers you hands-on experience with international real estate transactions, as well as five full days of study focusing on the critical aspects of transnational transactions, including:
*Currency and exchange rate issues
*Regional market conditions
This course provides you with the tools needed to present investment information to international clients—in their currency and area. You will learn how to measure investment performance, prepare financial projections, and understand the effects of taxes and exchange rates on investment.
Mr. Brian Woods is a seasoned real estate broker, investor, property manager, community association manager, instructor and speaker. Mr. Woods owns and operates multiple real estate brokerages, a community association management firm, commercial and investment finance company and a real estate school. In 2019, Mr. Woods received the CIPS Instructor of the Year Award from the National Association of Realtors. Also, in 2019, Mr. Woods served as the Florida Realtors Global Business Chairman. As the Global Council Chairman for 2016 and 2017 of the Broward, Palm Beach and St Lucie Realtors, Mr. Woods lead the local association to become the second NAR Diamond Council recipient in 2017. In 2016, Mr. Woods received the Global Realtor of the Year Award from the Broward, Palm Beach and St Lucie Realtors. In 2013, Mr. Woods was awarded the Mid-Size Broker of the Year Award from the third largest local Realtor Association in the US.
***This course is one of the two core courses to earn the prestigious Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation. The CIPS Network comprises 4,500+ real estate professionals from 50 countries and is the specialty membership group for global business practitioners of the National Association of Realtors®. The CIPS designation prepares Realtors® to service the growing international market in their local community by focusing on culture, exchange rates, investment trends, and legal issues. Each course is approved for 6 hours of Specialty CE Credit for Florida Licensees upon successful course completion. All REALTOR® attendees will receive credit towards NAR's CIPS Designation.
Transaction Tools is a 2DAY course; February 22nd & 23rd from 6PM-9PM each day. Attendance both days is required to receive credit.
