Code of Ethics (3CE)

Tuesday, November 15, 2022 (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EST)

Description

GOT ETHICS? Of course you do! Ever questioned the ethics of others? Of course you have!

Real estate is a complicated, complex industry and career. Only the strong survive. Get the strength that only confident professionals have. This class will provide clarity on what must be standard practice in our industry.

Topics covered include:
* Why there is a Code
* Filing a complaint
* Why agents may not get paid

Instructor: Deborah Diesing moved from Wisconsin to Florida in 1982 to join her father in the family’s real estate business in St. Petersburg. She later took the reins as the Broker and President of the Arbor Realty Group, Inc. She is now licensed as a Florida Real Estate Instructor and a member of Florida Realtors® Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) faculty, as well as a Senior Faculty member of Trans-Equity, Inc. and the Bob Hogue School of Real Estate. She has reached over 3,500 students to date with consistently positive evaluations.

Deb instructs new and experienced Realtors in the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics programs throughout the state of Florida, and teaches the pre-licensing, post-licensing, as well as continuing education courses for real estate in Florida. She is also adept at Course Writing and has written classes approved for continuing education credits in Florida and real estate licensure in South Carolina.

Florida Realtor® magazine recognized Deb for her use of technology in the real estate business. She teaches other Realtors these skills and her classes have been contracted throughout the southeastern U.S for over 9 years.
Active in the Realtor Association, Deb is a past-president of the St. Petersburg Suncoast Association and was a Director of Florida Realtors®. She is a member of the Professional Development committee of Florida Realtors®. Deb has also served the Pinellas REALTORS® Organization’s Multiple Listing Task Force and Professional Standards Committee.

Note: New PRO/CPRO Members that are required to take this class may utilize this option, or they may take the free online course through NAR.  Click here to access the free online course.

Florida licensees will earn 3 hours of Ethics & Business Practices CE Credit upon successful course completion. All REALTOR® attendees will receive credit towards NAR's Code of Ethics requirement.
