Fundamentals of Mortgage Finance: Types of Loans and How They Perform for the Buyer (4CE)

So many loans, so little time! This course will acquaint REALTORS®, new or experienced, with a pictorial overview of different loan options, including Fixed Rate Loans, Adjustable Loans, Balloon Loans, and even how a 2-1 “Buy-down” loan performs. You'll learn how different types of loans perform over their term so you can answer your client’s questions relative to their specific purchase. NOTE: please bring a calculator

After taking this class you will be able to:

  • Identify the different types of loans.
  • Understand how loans perform over term
  • Learn to calculate the initial and subsequent rate changes of ARMS
  • Solicit and justify a “Smart Offer” from the buyer
  • Explain the benefits of a “Smart Offer” to the seller
