iCE Know Your Boundaries - A Guide to Surveys (2CE)

This course is being offered through the Florida Realtors iCE program. (Interactive Continuing Education) 

You have a buyer that is ready to buy a house. Like most buyers, they want to save as much money as they can in the process of the purchase. They ask you the question “Do I really need a survey?” Maybe in the past you’ve sent them back to their lender to as k that question. Maybe you’ve told them you really aren’t sure. Or maybe you’ve just avoided the question all together. So, what do you tell them? Take this class and you will have a broader knowledge of what a survey is, why a buyer should always get one, and what protection it offers them.

Objectives: After taking this class students will be able to:

• Identify different types of surverys. 
• Understand the purpose of a survey. 
• Calrify who can preform a survey in Florida. 
• Understand how to read a survey.
• Identify red flags that might appear from the survey. 
• Understand how surveys and title insurance are interconnected.
