Traditional financial services firms only let people save for retirement using stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. That’s not because there isn’t an alternative.... it’s because that’s how those financial institutions get paid. The federal law that created self-funded retirement plans is much broader then just these three types of investments.
In this course, you will learn about the many other types of self-directed investments you can make. We will discuss not only the types of accounts available but also how to leverage these accounts. This knowledge is critical for self-employed professionals and for assisting your customers and clients in accessing funds they may not have been aware they could use for real estate purchases. As a real estate profession, if you aren’t investing in real estate you are missing the wealth-building opportunity you are helping other utilize.
