I am a professional with over 15 years of experience in Organizational Development, Training, Talent and Career Development, worked with Corporate, Private, Government and Non-Profit companies. A year ago my husband retired from the Armed Forces and we had a difficult decision to make where we are going to live for good after many years of moving. I didn't realize how important it is to know the area, neighborhood, cost of living, market, schools, tax benefits, VA loans, but all of these factors required not only time to explore and analyze but money. Yes, moving from North Carolina to the beautiful Tampa Bay was not as easy as we thought. Real Estate is unique and it is hard to get the big picture while not physically there, gathering online information and facts. After traveling and finally moving to Tampa found that it was better to buy a house rather than rent it since the leasing prices were high. It took us three months to find the right home for us. I am so thankful for the support of our family and friends during this transition.
