Kelly Corcoran became a REALTOR® with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Florida Properties Group in early 2014. Her diverse experience provides a solid foundation for her real estate career. Furthermore, she is joining her mother, Rachel Friesema, who is an established and accomplished Realtor. Ms. Corcoran’s previous position was Director of International Affairs for a national nonprofit. She has over fifteen years of experience in the nonprofit and human services fields, particularly dealing with the issues of substance abuse and domestic violence at an international policy level. As a nonprofit executive, Ms. Corcoran has been driven by the desire to create social impact through being a savvy researcher and communicator, leading and managing teams to get superior results and recognizing the imperative changes brought about by globalization and international business. Ms. Corcoran has a diverse background in management, fundraising, coalition building, graphic design, event planning, conference oversight, education and volunteer management, which contribute immensely to her career in real estate. Ms. Corcoran seeks out roles that challenge her creativity and drive to succeed, but most importantly, allow her to contribute to society. Serving families to buy and sell their homes and investment properties is a natural fit for her. Ms. Corcoran’s community involvement includes serving as Board Chair for the Children’s Home Society of Florida, Treasurer for St. Theresa’s Guild, serving as a member of the Flower Guild and Choir for her church. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Florida International University and has completed coursework towards her Masters of Business Administration with Marylhurst University.
