“There is no doubt that it is around the family and the home that all the greatest virtues… are created, strengthened and maintained.” (Winston Churchill) Ryan Bogden appreciates this thought process because he grew up as a product of not only his parents, but also his grandparents, and his great aunts and uncles. This upbringing shaped who he is today, providing an adventuresome and grateful spirit to live a fulfilling life. It also taught him to serve others, bringing with it the ability to gain friendships for life. Ryan was born and raised in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. From the young age of three, his Great Uncle brought him to his workshop and took him to practice at the shooting range. His Dad always included him in various handyman jobs at work and at home, as well. But the most influence came from growing up at the roller skating rink where his parents met. At age 13, it provided him with his first job, where he would learn the most valuable lessons about running a business from the Founder of Olympic Skating Center in Enola, Pennsylvania. Ryan’s interest in real estate actually began when his 11th-grade teacher suggested he read Robert Kiyosaki’s ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’. From that moment, he knew it had infinite possibilities. After graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force, and served from 2011-2016. He lived in Germany and traveled throughout Europe for two of those years, and was exposed to different cultures. This helped him become even more understanding and accepting of other people. As his military service was coming to a close, he began his first entrepreneurial venture, building an e-commerce business that included branding and manufacturing goods while selling them on Amazon.
